Throughout her youth she starred in various plays with both her drama group and at school. In 1998 she made her television debut in Casualty, however she made her big break in acting starring as Michelle Richardson in the British drama Skins.
Pearson appeared in the first two series of the successful E4 show, but like the rest of the "original" cast members, was written out of the following series in order to introduce a new generation of characters to the show.
In 2008 Pearson once again appeared in Casualty as a teenager called Karen, followed by her film debut in Tormented (2009) alongside her Skins co-star Larissa Wilson.
It was hailed as “the biggest dance fad since the [mid-1990s] Macarena” and had everyone lunging into a Superman pose." /Although there's plenty of iffy behavior on display in every episode of this unflinchingly realistic series (much of it without serious consequence), it's clear that the characters care about each other and are close and loyal friends.The teens on this show regularly engage in behavior that would horrify most parents -- from drinking and having sex to throwing raucous parties.Various simulated sex acts are visible, though nudity is limited.Partial male and female nudity (buttocks and breasts are visible; painted images of female genitals are sometimes shown). Tony calls Michelle "Nips" after seeing her breasts.
