Skins is a British teen drama created by father-and-son television writers Bryan Elsley and Jamie Brittain for Company Pictures.
The second series began airing on E4 on 11 February 2008 and ended on 14 April 2008.
This series follows the lives of sixth form students Tony Stonem, Michelle Richardson, Sid Jenkins, Cassie Ainsworth, Chris Miles, Jal Fazer, Maxxie Oliver and Anwar Kharral.
Six months on, Tony is still recovering from injuries sustained in the last series.
With seven seasons and three generations of characters, here’s just where the first generation have ended up.
Undoubtedly one of the show’s lead characters and one of the most successful following on from the show is Nicholas Hoult.
Later in the year, you can see Nicholas on BBC and Netflix in Watership Down alongside James Mc Avoy and John Boyega. It was announced yesterday that Dev Patel, who played hard-partying Anwar Kharral, has been nominated for an Oscar for his most recent role in Hollywood tearjerker Lion, while Nicholas Hoult and Jack O'Connell are both on their way to becoming household names. The Skins cast back in 2008, when they were enjoying their first taste of fame (Pictured from left: Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Larissa Wilson, Joseph Dempsie, Daniel Kaluuya, Dev Patel and Nicholas Hoult )Set in Bristol and written by father-and-son duo Bryan Elsley and Jamie Brittain, Skins documented life for a group of hormone-raging teenagers going through Sixth Form. The sitcom's brave storylines clearly provided key actors with a blistering showreel - something that would stand them in good stead over the coming decade.Original Episode # Prod # Air Date Titles _____ ______ ___________ ___________ ___________________________________________ Season 1 1.
